Abida: She Who Believes

Al An’am 6:126

~Ibn al Qayyim rahimahullah.

Money, status, fame, even people, none of it can fill that space in your heart that is reserved for Allah aza wa jal

Subhan Allah, look at the status parents are given in islam!

It’s all too easy to take our parents for granted and are ungrateful for all the sacrifices they have made for us. The very fact that your mother carried you in her womb for nine whole months and raised you from when you were weak and helpless is enough of a reason for you to feel indebted to her. Understand that there is a reason why we are told that paradise lies at our mother’s feet.

Surat Ash Sharh [94:5]

You’ll never see a rainbow without going through a little rain, so no matter how tough things may get, don’t give up, or despair. Persevere in patience, turn to Allah SwT for guidance and support and understand that there is a wisdom behind trials that we’re not always able to perceive. 

[Surat Yusuf 12:87]

Never, ever despair in the mercy of Allah, because He is Ar Rahman, Ar Rahim. The door to repentance is always open, all you have to do is take the step forward. 

On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:

“Allah the Almighty said:

‘O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it.’”

Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi. 

[Surat ar Rad 13:28]

There is a space in your heart that no worldly pleasure can ever fill, this is a space that has been reserved especially for Allah, subhanahu wa ta’ala. Learn true contentment and peace by growing closer to Him. 

Surat at Tawbah 9:40

Never despair or give up hope because you never know what Allah has planned for you.

“Things aren’t always as they seem. Umm Musa was told to throw her son in the river, Yusuf was left for dead in a well, Maryam delivered a child alone, Ayesha was accused of a terrible sin, Yunus was swallowed by a whale, Ibrahim was thrown in the fire, Muhammad lost the love of his life Khadija, and Umm Salamah thought no one could be better than Abu Salamah.(Peace be upon them). Yet look at how it turned out for them in the end… So don’t worry, Allah has a plan for you.”
